My dear friend Charly used to ask me this question. “Mire”, - he used to say, lowering his voice as if he was about to tell me a secret: “Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?”
This question has stayed with me over the years, and as an executive leadership coach, I often remind myself and my clients that pursuing happiness is not always synonymous with being right.
